Friends have called Max and Toby ‘part sloth,’ ‘actually a small dog,’ and ‘living stuffed animals.’ They just want to cuddle all the time. Both like being picked up and sleeping on my shoulder. They’re playful but mostly just want belly rubs. They get along great (they’re litter mates, brothers) and often play and cuddle with each other. They have lived with dogs before and even loved cuddling with the dog!

Food and Diet

Max and Toby is currently on Other

They eat Dick Van Patten Natural Balance — only vegetables, chicken, turkey and duck combos (no fish or beef). They have half a 5oz can of wet food twice a day each. Sometimes with dry food mixed in. Their respiratory issues were much improved by quality food — it’s costly but worth it!

Reason For Rehoming

My cats are a little needy — true cat lovers are obsessed with them, others find them too cuddly. I anticipate traveling more and more for work in the next few years, and as the cats get older I can’t stand the thought of not giving them enough love. My house is also pretty small, and there’s no good place for the litter box. The cats should really have multiple litter boxes, and right now I’m having arguments with roommates about odor because there’s no good place for it.
