Our Cool Cat Photo Contestants for March,
2009:

Lancelot Brown
is a two year old grey tabby (we call him a wood cat) that adopted us
while a kitten. While visiting my mother in laws house this tiny kitten made
himself at home by sneaking into her house and onto my lap (how could I not
keep him?).
Background of picture: I was sitting on the couch watching TV with my
favorite little buddy Lance, out of the corner of my eye I notice him flip
over on his back (photo sent). He stayed in that position for about an hour
even as I rubbed his belly.
Lance likes to hang out with our other two cats in the back yard, he enjoys
chasing all sorts of furry little things and on more than one occasion,
delivers them to my wife in bed (works better than coffee). Lance
spends a little time with me in my work shop, he only demands my attention
when I have the most work to get done (he must sense my stress and tries to
calm me), so I usually set him up a makeshift bed from an spare carpet
square so he can be near. He enjoys dry kibble for a morning meal but
really enjoys a half can of shredded friskys for dinner, first he licks all
the gravy, takes a nap then returns to finish off the meat. Thank you for
taking the time to read.

Katie French writes: This is my cat
Lucy. She was asleep so I took her
picture. She's so cute.

This is my goofy cat Aaron. He
wants to lay on my bed!

This is Chanel, an almost 2
year old tabby.
She loves playing with little rattles and has that sassy look to her ;)
Me and my family rescued her and her sister when they were 6 months old and
we have loved um ever since.
Allison Campitelli

Anya is a 5
month old purebred Siberian that is full of energy and spunk. When it's time
to rest she loves to snuggle and get into many different and unusual
sleeping positions. One of her favorites is what we call the "butt in the
face up-side-down" position.
She's just a joy to watch play. She's quicker than lightening and can jump 4
feet high from a sitting position. She loves to torment her brother Archie
(our Pekingese dog) and steal his toys. Her favorite thing is to sit and
watch the fire in the fireplace.

It's a joy to have her in our life. Nancy Carroll

Hi there,
Found your site today, some very cute pics. Here are a couple of pics of our
Persian, Ali, who is staying
with his Aunty Helen while we are away. First
pic, Ali is checking out his new domain. Second pic, after we had to rescue
him from under the water tank where he was hiding.

Meet Butters!
He's a grey fluffy male cat with attitude. He lives indoors and is very
bossy and always makes the female cats clean him. For some reason he seems
to love the venetian blind pole and tape measure, he does this funny little
cry at them. He's very cute and loving and I think this picture shows how
cute he really is.

This is one of my Norwegian Forest cats,
OBCANTO MAXI, born on 13 March, 2008. He loves to be outside in
the snow. His Grand-Parents are original from Norway, Denmark, Sweden and
Finland. MAXI and his brothers and sisters, father and mother are born in
Italy!
Early in the morning OBCANTO MAXI and his brother OPIFEX JOYCE wake me up,
to let them play outside.
But it still dark and very cold outside -10°C. They keep on calling me until
I open the window and they run outside. When I call them they come to give
me a hug and a kiss, to let me know how happy they are.
