Cat Photo Contest - January, 2008
Do you have a cool cat or kitten? Whether your cat
or kitten is beautiful, ugly, cute, fat, fluffy, bald,
glamorous, colorful, funny, weird, or wonderful, we accept
photos of all kinds of cool cats to our monthly cool cat photo
contest. Send us a picture of your cat, and be sure to include
lots of information about him or her, including age, sex, breed
(if known), where you live, what your cat likes to do, and what
your cat's purrsonality is like. Your cat could be our next
"Cool Cat of the Month"!

Meet Our
January Cool Cat Photo Contest
Winner for 2008!
Sasha is very special. I got her a
few months after I had put another cat to sleep. I was not looking for a new
baby. A friend called me and begged me to take this kitten who was being majorly
neglected. I took her and she is the love of my life. She follows me everywhere.
I adore her and love her.
She loves to play and jump. Her favorite toy is chasing the red laser dot. She
runs all around the house and up and down the stairs. Wish I had a red dot to
chase.. :)
Sasha came from a neglectful home . Before that she was in 2 shelters and before
that she was homeless. She's come with a lot of baggage. Sasha has opened her
heart for me. I adore her. She trusts me completely. She has learned to love and
not be scared... I'm so glad I took her. I was not ready for a new cat just yet,
as I had put another cat to sleep a few months earlier (due to cancer). You
probably won't believe me, but this first cat had heart disease and cancer.
Sasha is full of personality. She loves to play and jump. Her fav toy is to
chase the red laser dot. It's fun to watch her have so much fun.

Our Cat Photo Contestants for January, 2008:

Twinkle is my 4 year old, American
Shorthair, female cat. She is mostly a indoor cat but loves to go out at night.
She is 3rd oldest out of five kittens and has two other sisters ( they are
triplets) and two brothers. She is a beautiful tabby who I fell in love with
when she was born. Twinkle loves me so much! Sometimes when I go on a trip my
mother says she hears Twinkle yowling for me! Twinkle loves to sleep under my
bed and go outside but mostly at night. She doesn't get much exercise as you can
tell by the picture! She also loves to play with her brother (we kept one of her
siblings) and our other cats. Twinkle's personality is sweet, kind, loving, and
friendly. I love her so much!

Sophia
is special. She came from my parents' barn. She is a Siamese
mix. She has a cute personality. She loves to lick you. She has a very full,
squirrel like tail. She has a prissy walk . I love her. She's very flirty and
friendly with company. Everyone who comes over falls in love with her. Even
people who are not "cat" people. She's a sweetie. Linda Wells

Tallulah is a
Siamese mix. She is six months old and her favorite hobbies are climbing on my
porch screen, eating toilet paper and helping her mommy brush her teeth. She is
an escape artist and can open doors. She is very naughty kitten, but also very
loveable!!!

Pebbles is a
beautiful 2 year old domestic longhaired cat.
 
I saw her at at a shelter when she was 6
weeks old I knew I had to have her, what a blessing she has
added to our lives. Pebbles loves to fetch (yes!!fetch) She
loves it. She is so pretty and loves to sit on my desk to
help me work everyday.

Willow
was found stuck in a fence, so we rescued her and took her home, and she has
added so much joy to our family. She loves to pounce on our dog, steals
balls of paper to play with, and loves to cuddle under covers!
