3. Concern - A responsible Thai cat breeder will be concerned about the well-being of her cats and kittens. She'll want to know a lot about you, and put you through a "screening" process before agreeing to place one of her kittens with you.

The goal of each breeding should be to produce the healthiest, soundest kittens possible, while adhering to the breed standard set forth by the governing cat breed association. In addition to this, the breeder should offer, and stand behind, a reasonable health guarantee on her kittens.

5. Commitment - A responsible Thai cat breeder will be committed to the welfare of her kittens. She should be willing to offer you a reasonable amount of post-sale support to answer any questions you may have as you adjust to life as a kitten owner.  She should want to keep in touch with you and receive photos and updates on how your kitten is doing. The breeder should also be willing to assist you in re-homing your kitten, should circumstances prevent your fulfilling your commitment to raising the feline, for any reason.
